Site description:

objective:

Our goal was to create a modern barn with vehicle storage and a workshop on the lower level and a studio/office space on the upper level. Using the topography of the site we designed the lower part of the building to set into the earth and become a retaining wall, allowing the upper level to take on its own independence.
