Up on a cliff overlooking Lake Champlain this house affords magnificent views. We intertwined three structures; living, sleeping and a vertical circulation connector. Wrapping the house around the contours of the cliff and settling the house between the rocks, we took advantage of the views to the east, south and west.  On the interior each space was specifically oriented to the site and view. This house is all electric and fossil fuel free. With passive solar design, super insulated double stud walls and triple glazed windows this house maintains Efficiency Vermont’s high-performance rating.
